Senior Accounting Clerk
Wyndham Vacation Ownership is currently seeking a Senior Accounting Clerk in Orlando, Florida. The Extra Holidays Rental accounting group is responsible for updating, maintaining, and correcting the general ledgers; as well as, generating monthly financial reports for use by accounting and operational personnel. The Accounting Clerk will run night audits for resorts, ensuring that all guests have been checked in and out properly and that payment has been received. Also, to ensure that all Owner and HOA commission payments are made on time. Billing and collections of Accounts Receivables, Loading payments from IHotelier and paying of Travel Agent Commissions.
Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Running Night Audits - Making sure that all guests are checked in and out correctly in RCC, matching these to FOCUS and that all revenues are recorded. Also, making sure that either the stays are paid for in advance or are Direct Billed to an approved Wholesaler.
Paying Owners and HOA Commissions - Owners must be paid within 45 days of rentals. You need to check owner status in RCC to determine whether they are current or delinquent. If they are current the monies are paid directly to the owner and are processed twice a month. If the owner is delinquent, the monies are forwarded to the HOA to be applied against the outstanding owner receivable and are processed twice a month.
Billing and Collecting Accounts Receivables - All accounts on the A/R must be invoiced on a monthly basis with follow ups for non-payment. The goal is to maintain all accounts in an Under 90 day status thus reducing reserve for Bad Debt.
Loading Payments from Ihotelier - This entails running the upload program daily, Monday thru Friday, to capture all credit card payments for booked reservations. All issues need to be researched and posted daily. It all entails posting all corrections from the Staff Accountants into the Operating System.
